Houston, we have a problem

I just went over 33, 679. That leaves 16,321 words to finish NaNo. I only have four notecards left.

Clearly I underestimated the number of words per scene, which means I need to fill in.

I don't think it's going to be a huge hardship. My notecards at this point are pretty vague, and the one I'm on now could potentially eat a lot of those words up. It's just that now I actually have to think, and with Thanksgiving this week, my mind is not on my book.

The goal is to get past 38,000 by bedtime tomorrow so I don't have to write on Thursday. I think I might be too full of turkey to be very productive.
