Frreeeeeeeee!

I can't remember the last time I had a whole day with nothing to do without being sick. The kids are on Christmas break and Eric apparently fed the cats, so I slept late. Christmas presents are all under the tree and I have no outside commitments today. I'm just left with the fiddly household stuff--laundry, cooking, cleaning up--but that's no big deal. I'll probably poke through the pantry to make sure I have everything I need for Christmas dinner and look through cookbooks for desserts. Eric will pick up the standing rib roast tomorrow so it would be good if I had a shopping list to send with him. Of course, I have a book, and the fireplace will be on all day because it's FOUR DEGREES here. Good day to stay inside with my coffee cup!

Ah. Relaxation. All of Christendom hates me right now. :-)
