Word count is coming right along. I did over 4,000 words yesterday and 1,348 today. I'm finding I get more words if I do 500-700 at a time with non-writing activities in between. Since I'm working five days this week, it's a useful observation. It's also handy that WriteItNow has a notes section so when I think of something I need to research I can make a note and get back to it. I think the best thing about this book is that I've incorporated a lot of things that I wanted to know about anyway. If my main character was a real person, I'd want to hang out with her.

Now that I have words in, I think I'll go downstairs and putter in the kitchen. 6:30 is way too early to go to bed.
